The skinny on drawing.

Or is it 'the drawing of skinny'....?

Who knows. In any case, here's some drawings from yesterday's life drawing class. Normally I fight with myself for the first hour, but yesterday I decided to stop caring and just have fun. And I actually like some of the results!

Not to mention our model was a skinny minnie, which normally I cannot draw... but her poses were awesome. Yay for skinnies! [Wow, never thought I'd say that.]

These poses are mostly 3 minutes...the first one I tried more of a caricature, but she's so thin you can barely notice anyway!

Cheers Chaps - Happy Weekend!
[ps - 'chaps' is a new word I have already picked up from living with Ann from England - it is so hard for me to restrain myself!!]

Stace - Your life drawings have improved like crazy in the past year. Even from this past summer going to life drawing with you, I can see how much your talent has grown. I am very proud of you, keep up the good work!

Very cool, very cool. I like the shading you've thrown in on her.

Wow, Stacey.

Soooooooo good! I can't believe how amazing your life drawings have become.

I'm completely envious. Ten years from now when I have some more time and am already wealthy beyond reason from the successful sales of my paintings I'm going to try to get half as good as you at figure drawing.

Wow.

Wow.

Toodle loo.
