My grand friend Ann, who owns a charming little shop on Kerr Street [here in Oakville] called
Art on the Left, told me that I could sell some cards through her shop if I so desired.
And since I love painting, and am always in need of funds to attempt to balance my starving artist status... I said, "Why I'd love to!"
So I spent my last day of non-school work today whipping up some watercolour cards. Tomorrow however, it is Week 2, and all downhill! Free time as I knew it, is officially over.
Good times. And thanks Ann!

Here's what the series will look like; simple graphic in the center, and a smaller graphic on the envelope cover. If these happen to sell, I shall do more, but here's the first batch of my idears.

The Christmas collection. [I use the term 'collection' loosely.]

The Birthday collection. Happy happy! Birthday birthday.

The Thanksgiving collection. 'Tis good to be thankful. And to eat pumpkin pie.

The Thank-you collection. Merci buckets.

The Wedding collection. How loverly.

Oh, and here's a snapshot of my paintings in Ann's store. Crazy haps!

Pumpkin Pie is the glue that holds the entire world together. Scott and Brenda informed me of some pumpkin pie flavored soft serve ice cream at Sargeant Sundae and I fully intend to try some this week.
Mmmm.... that would be yummers!!
MMMM, I'm going to try it too!
Great simple graphics s-girlo. Maybe you should start an ETSY shop online for your cards.
I get a finders fee for suggesting it though!
Hmmm... grand idea, Daphers! Definito something to look into.
So simple, I knew you'd enjoy, my simple-loving friend! You could whip up your own designs in no-time flat. [Do it!]
And as a friend recently reminded me... cards are much quicker and more satisfying than taking a couple days [or a week] working on one canvas!
I shall remember the finders fee ;0)
I have a feeling that my card designs would get farrrrr too technical right now. I'm just not keeping ideas simple these days.
Seriously, etsy would work for you.
That's a coolio idear, Daphers. I had not heard about ETSY before you mentioned it – I checked out their site and it looks awesome!
Hmm, definitely a good idea... now I have to decide if I want to attempt it during school craze. But it looks like something I'd love to do when I have enough time to committ to backing it up!
Thanks d! :)
Awesome designs. SO love the simplicity. But you knew I would.
Thanks Tamzers!
Yeah, I knew you would :)
Chomper,
So wicked.
Congrats. May you sell a million bajillion cards and be a wicked rich artista.
By the way, your blog gives me a big happy 'cuz of the viewing of the Chomperina arty goodness.
