Emslie draws Pedro as a rat!

I had to post this – yesterday I got back my character design assignment with Kip as a turtle and Napoleon as a bird....and my teacher Pete Emslie told me he couldn't resist doing his own rendition of Pedro as a rat.

He must have really enjoyed the film; he couldn't stop laughing when I originally handed in my assignment. But c'mon, they are all walking caricatures!

I love this though, I get so inspired from Pete's quick sketches. Check out his awesome celebrity caricatures at his website: http://members.shaw.ca/petemslie/index.htm.
[I also have him linked at the side of my blog.]

Napoleon Dynamite: Who are you gonna ask to the dance?

Pedro: That girl over there.

Napoleon Dynamite: Summer Wheatly? How the heck are you gonna do that?

Pedro: Build her a cake or something.

Wow! How cool to have an original Peter Emslie cartoon! He must have been awfully impressed with your Napolean and Kip!! I'll bet it was Kip's twisted leg that tipped the balance!!! Fabulous!
